Bloomfield Police Arrest Accused Mail Thief
Bloomfield police found a man in possession of 15 pieces of mail that belonged to local residents, authorities said.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Police have arrested a man accused of stealing mail in Bloomfield, authorities reported Tuesday.
According to the Bloomfield Police Department, officers responded to the 100-block of Grove Street on Friday after getting a report about a person entering mailboxes and removing mail.
Officers arrested the suspected thief, a 58-year-old Newark resident, who had 15 pieces of mail in his possession that belonged to multiple residences in the area. He was charged with theft and issued a summons, and has a pending court date, authorities said.
