Bloomfield Police Say 2 Belleville Men Robbed Convenience Store
Bloomfield police said two Belleville men allegedly brandished a large knife and demanded cash and cigarettes.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Bloomfield police arrested two Belleville men who have been accused of robbing a local convenience store, authorities announced Thursday.
According to the Bloomfield Police Department, officers responded to the Krauszers Food Mart on Belleville Avenue on March 10 after getting a report about an armed robbery.

“Upon the officers’ arrival, the store manager advised officers that two males entered the store and brandished a large knife. They demanded the money in the cash register and several packs of cigarettes. The suspects fled on foot to the rear of the store onto Davey Street Apartment Complex.”
Bloomfield police later located two men who fit the descriptions, Ethan Lozada, 20, and Anthony Dagata, 21, both of Belleville, authorities said.
Police arrested Lozada and Dagata and charged them with armed robbery and possession of weapon offenses. They were transported to the Essex County Correctional Facility in Newark.
