Bloomfield Police Will Host ‘Candy Take Back’ For Halloween 2016

Got too much leftover Halloween candy, Bloomfield? There's a remedy that will also help U.S. military troops.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Got too much leftover Halloween candy, Bloomfield? There’s a remedy… the Bloomfield Police Department’s “Candy Take Back” program.

According to a news release, police and the Bloomfield Department of Health and Human Services will host a holiday candy take back for 2016. Residents can drop off their unused candy at the Bloomfield Police Headquarters at 1 Municipal Plaza until Nov. 7.

All collected candy will be sent to U.S. military troops, police said.
