Bloomfield Pride, Clara Maass Team Up To Help LGBTQ Teens
The Feb. 3 fundraiser will benefit the Essex County LGBT Reaching Adolescents In Need (RAIN) Foundation.

ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — Bloomfield Pride, an organization that supports LGBTQ rights in Essex County, will be teaming up with the Clara Maass Medical Center for a fundraising luncheon from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 3 in Bloomfield.
According to a news release from Bloomfield Pride, the fundraiser will benefit the Essex County LGBT Reaching Adolescents In Need (RAIN) Foundation, a nonprofit that provides emergency shelter and other programming and services for the area’s LGBTQ+ young adults that are in crisis or at risk.
All of the proceeds from this event will directly benefit the Essex County RAIN Foundation as a result of Clara Maass Medical Center’s sponsorship, organizers said.

The public is welcome to attend the fundraiser, which includes a complete buffet lunch. Tickets to the fundraiser luncheon are $30 per person and can be purchased here.
“We admire the work that the RAIN Foundation is doing to support the area’s LGBTQ+ youth,” Bloomfield Pride spokesperson Moira Nelson said. “Programming and services like these are essential for the health and wellbeing of the most vulnerable members of our community.”
