Public schools, Bloomfield College to delay opening due to winter storm, black ice and low temperatures

Bloomfield School District said public schools would be delayed by 90 minutes after a major winter storm left roads covered in slushy snow that turned into black ice overnight after temperatures plunged into the teens.
The National Weather Service has an advisory until 9 a.m., warning that roads will be covered in black ice due to a rapid drop in temperatures last night.
