Bloomfield School Bus In Crash; Students Sent To Hospital: PD
There were nine students, an aide and a driver aboard the bus at the time of the crash, Bloomfield police said.
BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Several juveniles and an aide aboard a school bus were sent to the hospital after a crash in Bloomfield on Thursday morning, authorities said.
The collision took place around 8:45 a.m. as a Bloomfield Board of Education school bus entered the intersection of Broad Street and Overlook Terrace. A preliminary report indicates that the bus was rear-ended by a vehicle, according to the Bloomfield Department of Public Safety.
There were nine students, an aide and a driver aboard the bus at the time of the crash, police said.

Multiple passengers reported neck, back and head pain. Emergency responders transported the aide and three juveniles – all between the ages of 11 and 12 – to Mountainside Hospital for evaluation.
The Bloomfield Police Department Traffic Division is investigating the accident, authorities said. No additional information was immediately available.
