Bloomfield Starts Enforcing Parking Again After COVID Pause
Bloomfield Mayor: "As the state slowly begins to reopen, we will begin enforcing parking regulations again."
BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Bloomfield will begin enforcing parking regulations again on Monday, March 22.
According to a municipal news release, enforcement will be phased in with warnings and education during the first week.
Parking enforcement had been suspended as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.

Enforcement will include street and surface lot parking. Information regarding parking rules can be found at http://bloomfieldparking.org/parking-permitregulations/.
“Due to COVID-19, our administration loosened parking rules in order to make life easier for residents during such a difficult period,” Mayor Michael Venezia said. “As the state slowly begins to reopen, we will begin enforcing parking regulations again so that residents and visitors can park easily and safely when they visit our small businesses.”
