Bloomfield Store Busted for Selling Bootleg CDs, DVDs, Police Say
Township resident faces piracy charges.

A Bloomfield convenience store owner was charged with piracy after bootleg CDs and DVDs were found in her store, police say.
Glenda Delgado, 34, of Bloomfield, turned herself in on Jan. 8 to investigators after an arrest warrant was issued for allegedly selling pirated copies of digital recordings. The name of the store, located in the 300 block of Bloomfield Avenue, was not released.
Acting on a tip from private investigators working for the music/video industry, detectives went to the convenience store on Jan. 7 looking to gather evidence and gain probable cause for the arrest of Delgado, police said.

Upon their arrival, the investigators saw and confiscated numerous illegally copied CDs and DVDs, police said. An employee told investigators Delgado was out of town and due to return the next day.
The next day, Delgado turned herself in to the investigators and was charged with piracy.
