Bloomfield Tap Dance Ensemble Captures 'People's Choice Award'

BLOOMFIELD, NJ —A tap dance ensemble in Bloomfield has captured a "People's Choice Award" for 2020.

As part of its annual round of awards, JerseyArts.com gave a shout-out to the Bloomfield-based New Jersey Tap Ensemble. See the full list of awardees.

Here's what JerseyArts had to say about the New Jersey Tap Ensemble, which was named as its Favorite Modern/Cultural Dance Company:

"New Jersey Tap Dance Ensemble's mission is to preserve and promote the American art form of rhythm tap dancing. The company has become known for artistic excellence in performance and the development of tap artists, projects, and programs. The dancers are today’s ambassadors for the art form and leaders in the field nationally and internationally."
