Bloomfield residents are urged to attend the Saturday meeting of the Bloomfield Neighborhood Associations Committee at 10 a.m. in the second floor conference room in the police building on the corner of Franklin and Montgomery.
The BNAC, a non-partisan collection of residents, community leaders and neighborhood and civic groups, started nearly 15 years ago to promote civic participation and community building through exchanges of ideas and information.
All meetings are free and open to the public. Organizers said the Saturday Dmeeting will evaluate our traditional political candidate forums and solicit ideas for speakers for the upcoming year and discuss as ways to encourage more residents to attend BNAC meetings, which are held once every six weeks.
