Broad Street In Bloomfield Reopened After Gas Line Repairs

Gas line repairs temporarily shut down a section of Broad Street in Bloomfield, officials said.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Gas line repairs temporarily shut down a section of Broad Street in Bloomfield on Tuesday, officials said.

The Bloomfield Police Department issued the following advisory around 10 a.m.:

“Be advised that Broad Street between Bellevue Avenue and Elmbrook Place will be closed on this date, Tuesday July 28 from 10 a.m. until further notice. PSE&G is in the roadway conducting gas line repairs. Police are on scene directing traffic. Expect delays and plan an alternate route.”

Police issued an update at 1:21 p.m.:
