Car Stolen In Bloomfield Involved In Parkway Crash: Police
A car was stolen in Bloomfield. It was later involved in an accident on the Garden State Parkway and towed by state police, authorities say.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — A vehicle recently stolen in Bloomfield was later involved in an accident on the Garden State Parkway, police said Friday.
The Bloomfield Police Department released the following statement about the theft, which was reported on May 29:
“An officer took a report of a stolen motor vehicle that occurred during the overnight hours. On May 28 at approximately 7 p.m., a resident parked her black 2002 Cadillac Escalade in the area of North 17th Street. When she returned to the vehicle, it was gone. The vehicle was entered NCIC stolen. A short time later the vehicle was involved in an accident on the Garden State Parkway and towed by NJ State Police.”
The incident is under investigation, Bloomfield police said.
