Charity Ball Honors, Soccer Fundraiser on Sunday

On Friday, the John I. Crecco Foundation Project Heartbeat Charity Ball recognizes two prominent members of the Bloomfield community, Bloomfield Township Councilwoman Peggy Dunigan and BHS Principal Christopher Jennings. 

The Bloomfield Cultural Commission offers Historic Bus Tours on Saturday. Two 90 minute guided bus tours leave at 1:30 and at 2:30 from the Civic Center, 84 Broad Street.

Bloomfield’s knitting group holds its weekly meeting at the library at 11 a.m. Organizers say there’s no teacher, just friendly crafters and suggest interested parties wander in anytime after it starts with their own projects and enjoy. 

On Sunday, residents can support BHS Girls Soccer by enjoying and buying items at a fundraising Mega-Tag Sale and Bake Sale at the Board of Ed parking lot.
