The Annual Cheer for the Cure Cheerleading Showcase will be at Bloomfield High School on Tuesday at 6 pm in the main gym. All proceeds are donated to the American Cancer Society’s Coaches vs Cancer.
The Bloomfield Board of Education meets at the Schools administration meeting room on Tuesday night. Public session starts at 7:30. It is the first full meeting to be led by recently appointed Schools Superintendent Salvatore Goncalves.
The Library hosts a Halloween party for children from 11 am. to noon, including a a costume parade, a simple craft project and treats for children of all ages.
On Wednesday at 7 p.m., the Bloomfield Board of Education, along with NJSBA, hosts a Town Hall Forum to discuss New Jersey’s mandates for new high-stakes tests at the Bloomfield High School Media Center, 160 Broad St.
