COVID Vaccine Pop-Up Clinic Planned In Bloomfield

Bloomfield is partnering with Essex County to provide COVID-19 vaccines to eligible residents at the Watsessing Park Community Center.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — A COVID-19 vaccine “pop-up” event is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, May 12 in Bloomfield, with another possibly to follow.

The clinic will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Watsessing Community Center near the playground off Conger Street, according to a municipal advisory.

Another clinic will be held on Wednesday, May 19 from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. if there’s a demand for shots, officials said.

Residents will have the option to choose between the Moderna or Johnson & Johnson vaccine, officials said.

“The Township of Bloomfield is partnering with Essex County to provide free COVID-19 vaccines to all eligible residents at the Watsessing Park Community Center on Wednesday, May 12 from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Registration is encouraged but walk-ups are welcome. To register, contact (973) 680-4177 on Tuesday, May 4 and Thursday, May 6, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.”
