Floor Jacks, Truck Tailgate Stolen In Bloomfield: Police
Recent thefts in Bloomfield include a $1,400 pickup truck tailgate and a pair of expensive floor jacks, authorities said.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Recent thefts in Bloomfield include a $1,400 pickup truck tailgate and a pair of expensive floor jacks, authorities said.
According to the Bloomfield Police Department, the following incidents were reported in the township:
- March 1 - “Officers responded to the 200-block of Montgomery Street on report of a theft. The owner of a Ford F-150 parked his truck and sometime over the weekend, the tailgate was stolen. The tailgate is valued at $1,400. This incident is under investigation.”
- March 3 – “Officers responded to the 200 block of Glenwood Avenue on report of a burglary into a business. On Feb. 26, an unknown person broke into a garage door and stole two, 1-ton floor jacks from inside. The floor jacks are valued at $500 each. This incident is under investigation.”
