New Jersey Peace Action's first Concert for Peace: “Gandhi’s Birthday Party” will take place on Saturday from 7–11 at Bloomfield College's Westminster Theater.
This event includes musical performances, and a student exhibition of submissions to a Gandhi/Peace contest for music and art.
Performers include Taiko Zoku Japanese Drummers, Montclair Opera Theater, a Yoko Ono Tribute with Deena Shoshkes, Rebecca Turner, Ruby on the Vine, the Lenape Tribal Council, the Solidarity Singers, a Bloomfield College Showcase of student performers, Bern and the Brights (acoustic) Tara and Bethann, Scotty Moore, Odarka, and more.
