Forecasters with the National Weather Service are calling for “hot and muggy conditions” for the rest of the week in Essex County.
Temperatures are expected to reach into the low 90s at some points in the week.

In addition, the National Weather Service issued a “Hazardous Weather Outlook” alert on Tuesday, warning residents that there may be a marginal risk of thunderstorms with damaging wind gusts on Thursday.
