BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Is it time to throw out this year’s Christmas tree in Bloomfield?

The Township of Bloomfield Public Works & Park Maintenance offered the following holiday reminder via social media on Tuesday:

“Christmas trees will be collected on your recycling collection day until February 1 for biodegradable recycling after that date the garbage truck will collect them. Christmas trees need to be bare (no lights, tinsel, ornaments, stands or plastic bags). If you have any questions, please call the office at 973-680-4127.”
