Bloomfield High School football player Marquis Ormond was named the Most Valuable Player honors during the Bloomfield vs. Montclair High School football classic played on Thanksgiving Day.
With the MVP distinction, Ormond receives a trophy from Investors Bank and will be presented with a $500 scholarship at the team’s end-of-the-season awards ceremony.
During the game, Ormond, a senior, scored twice on two long touchdown runs.
