The Bloomfield Township Council holds a regular meeting in Council Chambers on Monday night at 7. The agenda includes finalizing the contract with higher ranking members of the police force and voting on hiring new members of the force.
Also, officials will vote on a a water supply agreement between the township, Newark and the state's Department of Environmental Protection.
The Bloomfield Board of Education meets on Tuesday night at the School Board building meeting room. The agenda says the Board will convene in executive session after the public portion of the meeting to discuss hiring the next Superintendent of schools. After the executive session, they may appoint the new Superintendent and also may hold public interviews for the vacancy on the Board left after the resignation of Mary Shaughnessy.

The Bloomfield High School Bengals Varsity Football Team takes on Clifton at 7 p.m. on Friday night in Livingston for a conference game.
Also on Friday night at 7, the Bengals Boys Soccer team takes on Glen Ridge at Foley Field.
