Bloomfield’s Municipal Council holds a regular meeting Monday night at town hall. The meeting starts at 7. The agenda includes a proclamation honoring Bloomfield Tech High School and other actions. 

Jeremy Ben-Ami, president and founder of political advocacy group J Street, presents "The Two-State Solution: What It Really Takes to Get to Yes," at 7:15 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 18, 2013, at Temple Ner Tamid in Bloomfield. Organizers say Ben-Ami will focus on the current US-led Israeli-Palestinian peace negotiations, its differences from previous initiatives, potential stumbling blocks and what pro-Israel Americans can do to advance peace. 

Bloomfield Councilman Nicholas Joanow plans to discuss pride in Bloomfield at his monthly town hall meeting Wednesday. The meeting is from 7:30 PM to 9 p.m. at the IHOP at 1129 Broad Street.

From Thursday to Saturday, the Bloomfield High School Thespian Society puts on the classical Greek play The Trojan Women at Bloomfield College’s Westminster Arts Center. For more information, click here. 

Bloomfield’s Board of Health is scheduled to meet on Thursday night at 6:30 in the Mayor’s Conference Room at the Law Enforcement building. Meeting information was not available when this article was written. The agenda will be posted online here when it is up.
