Paintball Shooting In Bloomfield Leads To 4 Assault Charges: PD
Bloomfield police charged four people with aggravated assault after a person was hit by a paintball gun projectile, authorities said.
BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Bloomfield police charged four people with aggravated assault after a person was hit by a paintball gun projectile earlier this month, authorities said.
According to the Bloomfield Police Department, the incident took place on Nov. 10 in the area of Broad Street and Watchung Avenue. The victim told officers that four people in a passing vehicle fired a paintball gun, then fled from Broad Street onto Watchung Avenue.
Police apprehended four Bloomfield residents, whose ages ranged from 19 to 20-years-old, and charged them with aggravated assault in connection with the Nov. 10 incident.
