School Board Meeting, Book Club, Speed Dating

The Bloomfield Board of Education meets on Tuesday night at the School Board building meeting room. The agenda says the Board will convene in executive session after the public portion of the meeting to discuss hiring the next Superintendent of schools. After the executive session, they may appoint the new Superintendent and also may hold public interviews for the vacancy on the Board left after the resignation of Mary Shaughnessy.

The Financial Book Club meets on Tuesday night at the library from 6:30 to 7:30 to discuss the book "The Science of Getting Rich," by Wallace D. Wattles and to hear a presentation on retirement from David Catania and his sister Christina Frole, of Ameriprise Financial Advisors.
