As another school year ramps up in Bloomfield, local public safety officials are reminding drivers to be extra careful in the coming weeks.

On Tuesday, the Bloomfield Police Department issued the following reminder:

“Tomorrow is the first day of school for Bloomfield students. Drivers, please use caution when driving. There will be many excited children in the street. Please stop for ALL pedestrians in the crosswalks. Parents, please review and adhere to the “Stop, Drop and Go” rules to ensure a safe and speedy drop off! Officers will be on scene to welcome all of the students!”
