"Holy cannoli, that's a lot of goodness!" Check out a Bloomfield pastry shop's mouthwatering monument to the holiday spirit.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — As Charlie Brown can attest, a “Christmas tree” can take many forms.

Earlier this week, Rudy’s Pastry Shop in Bloomfield brightened the internet with a photo of their four-foot, holiday cannoli tree. “Holy cannoli, that’s a lot of goodness!” the shop declared on social media, describing the massive stack of the beloved comfort food.

According to its website, the shop has been serving European cakes and pastries to the public, local restaurants, hotels and country clubs for more than 35 years. (Learn more about this local business here)

It’s not the only example of Essex County “living large” this holiday season.

Belleville's Michael Perrone recently put the "world's largest nutcracker" on display at the State Fair Christmas store at 241 Main Street in Belleville until New Year’s week. The 8.5-foot nutcracker can crack 10 walnuts at a time.
