St. Thomas the Apostle School Robotics Qualifies For States! (Again)

The students on the St. Thomas the Apostle School Robotics team along with their coordinator Mrs. Maggie Almeida have been practicing since September for their competitions. This program is not just building, it works with core values and a service project. They will now be competing at the State Level!
This year the students participating have decided to help clean up Clark’s Pond. With an innovative idea to create an irrigation system in the pond clean water will flow smoothly and assist nature and the wildlife. The project is only one aspect of the Robotics Competition. Other aspects are engineering, and team building.

The team has placed first in the Clifton High School Robotics Competition for the Project Portion of the Contest, and have qualified for the State Tournament in Flanders NJ. The entire school community is standing behind the team and rooting for them every step of the way.
