St. Thomas robotics compete at the world level!

The St. Thomas the Apostle School Robotics team will be competing in West Virginia this summer with some of the best from the world

The 8th Grade (and graduated!) St Thomas Robotics team, the Brainstormers, will be attending the Mountain State FLL Invitational at Fairmont State University in West Virginia on July 12 through 14. The Mountain State Invitational will include over 60 teams from the US, Canada, Puerto Rico, Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay, Ecuador, Colombia, Peru, Chile and Mexico.

The Brainstormers are one of 4 robotics teams that represented St Thomas this year at the FLL North Jersey Regional Competition at Clifton High School . From there, the Brainstormers moved on to the state finals at Mount Olive High School , winning the first place trophy for Team Work among 88 teams. In addition, they were selected to display their robotic skills during Engineering Week at the Liberty Science Center .

Members of the Brainstormers are Pablo Baez, Laura Conigliari, Michael Dox, Owen Lennox, Sofia Mattingly, Marissa Munoz, Colin Salandy.
