The students on the St. Thomas the Apostle School Robotics team along with their coordinator Mrs. Maggie Almeida have been practicing since September for their upcoming competition. This program is not just building, it works with core values and a service project.
This year the students participating have decided to help clean up Clark’s Pond. With an innovative idea to create an irrigation system in the pond clean water will flow smoothly and assist nature and the wildlife. The project is only one aspect of the Robotics Competition. Other aspects are engineering, and team building.
