Volunteers Ride "It's A Small World" to Support LLS
Volunteers Set to Ride Iconic "It's A Small World" attraction for 12 Hours to Raise Money for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
(Orlando, FL, July 26, 2019) — Longtime dedicated volunteer and fundraiser for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) New Jersey Chapter, Anne Bertasso of Bloomfield, NJ, has vowed to ride the "It's a Small World" attraction at Walt Disney's Magic Kingdom Theme Park on August 17, 2019, for 12 straight hours. "Why?" you might ask. Singer and eleven of his fellow LLS Team In Training teammates, John Rigney of Wilmington, DE; Doug Cross of Greenfield, IN; Andrew Suarez of Lutz, Fl; Starr Davis of Hollywood, FL; Jill Furlong of Celebration, FL; Jo Lea Hearn of Merritt Island, FL; Liesl DeLuera of West Palm Beach, FL; Andrew Nerney of Atlanta, GA; Andy Singer of Jefferson, NJ; Ashley Donaldson of McKeesport, PA; and Sara Gross of Stafford, VA, are taking on this brave, exciting event together. Their goal is to raise funds for cancer cures as part of LLS's best-in-class charity training program, Team In Training.
The team will start the ride when the park opens at 9:00 a.m. until the time the park closes at 9:00 p.m. They've set an ambitious fundraising goal of $10,000.
