Watch Bloomfield’s Virtual Celebration For MLK Day 2021

Bloomfield not only "talks the talk" when it comes to the drive for racial justice – it "walks the walk," a local councilwoman says.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Bloomfield is a town that not only “talks the talk” when it comes to the drive for racial justice – it “walks the walk,” according to council member Wartyna Davis.

On Monday, the township hosted a celebration to honor Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

During the virtual event, several Bloomfield residents earned shout outs for their contributions to the community, including Simone Gordon, Salvatore Siconolfi, Matthew Arnold, Tina Otto Cochran and Laurie Venezia.
