127th Independence Day Celebration At Middlebrook Encampment

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — The Washington Camp Ground Association will be hosting the 127th Annual Independence Day Celebration at Middlebrook Encampment in Bridgewater on Sunday, July 4th at 10 a.m.

The annual event will celebrate the 245th Anniversary of the adoption of the Declaration of Independence at the site of General George Washington's camp off Middlebrook Road near Cedar Crest Road in Bridgewater, near the Bound Brook border.

The program will begin at 10:30 a.m. and include:

• Welcome & Introductions - Bound Brook Mayor and President of Washington Camp Ground Association Robert Fazen and Bridgewater Mayor Matthew Moench
• Declaration of Independence - Bound Brook Councilman Jake Hardin U.S. Army Veteran West Point Graduate
• Benediction - Reverend Phil Fiadino, Bound Brook
• Music - Ben Auletta Jr., Bound Brook
• Master of Ceremonies - Fazen
• Invocation - Reverend Phil Fiadino, Bound Brook,
• Retire Old Colors - American Legion, Giles-Biondi Post 63, Bound Brook
• Presentation of Colors - Boy Scout Troops 41 & 46, Trail Life USA Troop NJ-2717
• National Anthem - "Star-Spangled Banner"
• Pledge of Allegiance - Fazen
