14 DWI, 12 Shoplifting Arrests Reported In Bridgewater
The Bridgewater Township Police released its blotter for September through Dec. 10, 2023.
BRIDGEWATER, NJ ? A total of 14 DWI and 12 shoplifting arrests were reported in the latest police blotter that spans three months.
Bridgewater Township Police Blotter:
On Sept. 17 at around 7:18 p.m.: Kaitlyn Kodersha, 29, of Raritan, was arrested for DWI after a motor vehicle stop in the parking lot of the Bridgewater Commons Mall. She was issued the following summonses: DWI, reckless driving, and careless driving. She was released with a pending court appearance.

On Sept. 21 at around 7:43 p.m.: Theresa Lustgarten, 28, of Pittstown, was arrested for DWI after being involved in a motor vehicle crash at the intersection of Route 28 and Garretson Road. She was issued the following summonses: DWI, reckless driving, careless driving and failure to maintain lane. She was released with a pending court appearance.
On Sept. 24: A victim was at Tommy?s Tavern located at 550 Somerset Corporate Boulevard reported that her purse was stolen. The victim had been seated at a table and her purse was hanging over the back of her chair at the time of the theft.

On Sept. 28: A victim reported the catalytic converter had been stolen from their 2017 Nissan VMO. The vehicle had been parked in a parking lot of a business located on Washington Valley Road.
On Sept. 29 at around 12:24 p.m.: Kimberly Smith, 28, from Somerville, was stopped for shoplifting at Wegmans, located at 724 Route 202. Smith stole store merchandise valued at $307. A complaint summons was completed and she was released with a pending court appearance.
On Sept. 29 at around 2:51 p.m.: Darrin Newton, 56, of Somerville, was arrested for DWI after being involved in a motor vehicle crash on Route 22 east. He was issued the following summonses: DWI, reckless driving, careless driving, unlicensed driver and suspend driving privilege. He was released with a pending court appearance.
On Oct. 2: A resident from Cabot Hill Road reported the catalytic converter had been stolen from their 2003 Acura TL. The vehicle had been parked in the roadway directly in front of the residence.
On Oct. 7 at around 12:08 a.m.: Kevin Thomson, 59, of East Brunswick, was arrested for DWI after being involved in a motor vehicle crash on Route 22 East by Vosseller Avenue. He was issued the following summonses: DWI, reckless driving, careless driving and failure to obey a traffic signal. He was released with a pending court appearance.
On Oct. 16: A resident from Vroom Drive reported the catalytic converter had been stolen from their 2008 Acura TSX. The vehicle had been parked in the parking lot directly in front of the residence.
On Oct. 16: A resident from Winder Drive reported the catalytic converter had been stolen from their 2016 Nissan NV200. The vehicle had been parked in the parking lot directly in front of the residence.
On Oct. 16: A resident from Elmara Drive reported the catalytic converter had been stolen from their 2013 Volkswagen Beetle. The vehicle had been parked in the street directly in front of the residence.
On Oct. 16 at around 6:49 p.m.: Kevin Abreu, 36, from Corona, NY was stopped for shoplifting at Wegmans, located at 724 Route 202. Abreu stole store merchandise valued at $362.88. A complaint summons was completed and he was released with a pending court appearance.
On Oct. 20 at around 6:26 p.m.: Stephen Quintana, 43, of Bridgewater was arrested for DWI after being involved in a motor vehicle crash on Bridgewater Avenue. He was issued a summons for
driving while intoxicated and released with a pending court appearance.
On Oct. 21 at around 12:02 a.m.: Marlon Guevara Martell, 39, of Bridgewater, was arrested for DWI after a motor vehicle stop on Finderne Avenue. He was issued the following summonses: DWI, careless driving and failure to maintain lane. He was released with a pending court appearance.
On Oct. 22 at around 1:51 a.m.: Christian Humala, 40, of Raritan, was arrested for DWI after a motor vehicle stop on Route 22 west in the area of North Bridge Street. He was issued the following summonses: DWI, careless driving, reckless driving and failure to maintain lane. He was released with a pending court appearance.
On Oct. 22 at around 5 p.m.: Jennifer Riccardo, 49, of Bridgewater, was stopped for shoplifting at Target, located at 200 Promenade Boulevard. Riccardo stole store merchandise valued at $409.98. A complaint summons was completed and she was released with a pending court appearance.
On Oct. 23 at around 2:55 a.m.: Saurav Ghosh, 52, of Bridgewater, was arrested for DWI after a motor vehicle stop on North Bridge Street. He was issued the following summonses: DWI, careless driving, reckless driving and unregistered vehicle. He was released with a pending court appearance.
On Oct. 24 at around 6:21 p.m.: Diana Trinidad, 38, of Bound Brook, was stopped for shoplifting at Target, located at 200 Promenade Boulevard. Trinidad stole store merchandise valued at $288.30. A complaint summons was completed and she was released with a pending court appearance.
On Oct. 25: Raymond Zrodskey, 43, of Washington, was arrested for shoplifting at NJ Home and Garden Supply, located at 1930 Washington Valley Road. Zrodskey stole store merchandise valuedat $708. A complaint summons was completed and he was released with a pending court appearance.
On Nov. 7 at around 3:44 a.m.: A victim from Second Street reported their vehicle had been burglarized while parked their driveway. The victim reported that the suspect stole Apple AirPods, a charger and around $50 in cash from inside the vehicle. The victim believed their vehicle had been left unlocked at the time of the incident.

On Nov. 8 at around 8:56 p.m.: William Shopland 3rd, 28, of Bedminster, was arrested for DWI after being involved in a motor vehicle crash on Newmans Lane near Kale Drive. He was issued thefollowing summonses: DWI, reckless driving, careless driving, refusal to submit to breath tests and failure to maintain lane. He was released with a pending court appearance.
On Nov. 9 at around 12:24 pm.: A Bridgewater resident advised they were exercising in the area of Sunset Lake. The victim left a blue Matracz backpack on the side of North Shore Drive and began to
run around the lake. Upon arriving back to the area where the backpack was left, the victim found that it was missing.
On Nov. 12 at around 2:10 a.m.: Nicholas Marini, 28, of High Bridge, was arrested for DWI after a motor vehicle stop on Route 22 West. Marini was issued the following summonses: DWI, reckless driving, careless driving, refusal to submit to breath tests and failure to maintain lane. He was released with a pending court appearance.
On Nov. 15: A resident from Dartmouth Avenue reported an Amazon package was stolen from their front porch. The Police Department is still investigating this incident.
On Nov. 16 at around 1:27 p.m.: Andy Chen, 33, of East Brunswick, was stopped for shoplifting at Target, located at 200 Promenade Boulevard. Chen stole store merchandise valued at $164.98. A complaint summons was completed and he was released with a pending court appearance.
On Nov. 19 at around 12:53 a.m.: Aaron Freeman, 28, of Piscataway, was arrested for DWI after a motor vehicle stop on Route 22 East. Freeman was issued the following summonses: DWI, failure to maintain lamps, careless driving, driving with a suspended license and failure to maintain lane. He was released with a pending court appearance.
On Nov. 19 at around 3:45 p.m.: A victim reported their vehicle had been burglarized while parked at the AC Hotel located at 600 Somerset Corporate Boulevard. The victim reported the window
of their vehicle had been broken and a purse was removed from the vehicle?s interior.
On Nov. 25 at around 11:34 p.m.: Jaudicia Roman, 46, of Neshanic, was arrested for DWI after a motor vehicle stop on Route 28. Roman was issued the following summonses: DWI, reckless driving, careless driving, and failure to maintain lane. She was released with a pending court appearance.
On Nov. 25 at around 9:09 p.m.: Michael Coppola Jr., 51, of Bound Brook, was arrested for DWI after a motor vehicle stop on Route 22 East. Coppola was issued the following summonses: DWI, careless driving and failure to maintain lane. He was released with a pending court appearance.
On Nov. 26 at around 5:32 a.m.: Stephen Schwaeble, 43, of Delran, was arrested for DWI after he was found behind the steering wheel of his running vehicle in a parking lot on Van Veghten Drive. Schwaeble was issued a summons for DWI. He was released with a pending court appearance.
On Nov. 28 at around 11:42 a.m.: A victim reported their vehicle had been burglarized while parked in a parking lot on Sunny Slope Road. The victim reported that an unknown actor(s) entered their unlocked vehicle and removed a box of woman?s shoes and various pieces of mail.
On Nov. 28 at around 7:30 p.m.: Emily Joseph, 18, of Bridgewater, was stopped for shoplifting at Target, located at 200 Promenade Boulevard. Joseph stole store merchandise valued at $256.80. A complaint summons was completed and she was released with a pending court appearance.
On Dec. 1 at around 4:39 p.m.: Si?Mya Whitehead, 19, of Montclair, was stopped for shoplifting at Sephora, located at 400 Promenade Boulevard. Whitehead stole store merchandise valued at $295. A complaint summons was completed and she was released with a pending court appearance.
On Dec. 2 at around 1:50 a.m.: Aaron Saavedra-Cerdas, 27, of Manville, was arrested for DWI after being involved in a motor vehicle crash on East Main Street near the intersection of Promenade Boulevard. Saavedra-Cerdas was uninjured in the crash. He was issued the following summonses: DWI, refusal to consent to breath testing and failure to exhibit documents. He was released with a pending court appearance.
On Dec. 4 at around 6:43 p.m.: Sheron Savage, 38, of Brooklyn, NY was stopped for shoplifting at Sephora, located at 400 Promenade Boulevard. Savage stole store merchandise valued at $1,160. A complaint summons was completed and she was released with a pending court appearance.
On Dec. 8 at around 8:30 p.m.: Michael Fuentes-Mora, 29, of Somerville, was stopped for shoplifting at Target, located at 200 Promenade Boulevard. Fuentes stole store merchandise valued at $669.18. A complaint summons was completed and he was released with a pending court
appearance.
On Dec. 9 at around 7:30 p.m.: Juan Sergovia-Samanamu, 28, of Somerville, was stopped for shoplifting at Target, located at 200 Promenade Boulevard. Sergovia stole store merchandise valued at $811.92. A complaint summons was completed and he was released with a pending court
appearance.
On Dec. 10 at around 6:45 p.m.: Rebeca Cabrera-Sanchezdes, 34, of Bound Brook, was stopped for shoplifting at Target, located at 200 Promenade Boulevard. Cabrera stole store merchandise valued at $427.40. A complaint summons was completed and she was released with a pending court appearance.
