2 Kittens Abandoned By Woman At Bridgewater Home: Authorities

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — The public is being asked to help identify a woman who authorities say abandoned two kittens in the middle of the night at a Bridgewater home. (Video below)

The woman is seen on a surveillance video at around 1:30 a.m. on Tuesday walking up to a home on Harry Road holding a pet carrier, said Somerset Regional Animal Shelter(SRAS).

The video shows the woman putting the carrier down on the front porch, ringing the doorbell and running away towards a car parked across the street.

The shelter's Animal Control Officer and Bridgewater Police were both called out to the home. The kittens were found unharmed and were taken back to the shelter, according to SRAS.
