2 Vehicle Crash With Entrapment, Truck Overturns In Bridgewater
The Finderne Fire Department was called out to help at the crash.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ ? A two-vehicle crash with entrapment was reported last week in Bridgewater.
On Dec. 14 at around 7:50 p.m., Bridgewater Officers went to the intersection of Route 28 and the ramp to Interstate 287 North to investigate a crash.
The crash involved a 2021 Dodge Ram, operated by a 17-year-old, driving east on Route 28, and a 2005 Mazda driven by an 18-year-old resident from Somerset, who was driving west on Route 28.

The Dodge Ram tried to turn directly in front of the Mazda causing the crash, said Bridgewater Police Lt. Kevin Lamey.

Everyone was out of the vehicles when officers arrived. Only one minor injury was reported.
The Finderne Fire Department, which covers the southeast section of Bridgewater Township, is always looking for volunteers.
Volunteers are offered complete protective gear, free training, LOSAP (Length of Service Award Programs), a pay-per-call incentive, a life insurance/disability plan, and an in-house gym.
