22 West Offers Frozen Dinners, Delivery Amid Coronavirus Closures
Bridgewater native and owner of 22 West Tap & Grill Kevin Trimarchi is asking patrons to call for delivery to keep his employees working.
BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Bridgewater native and owner of 22 West Tap and Grill Kevin Trimarchi is among the many business owners looking for ways to stay afloat after Gov. Phil Murphy mandated state closures of restaurants on Monday night to stop the spread of the coronavirus.
"It sucks for me, I just spent a fortune on our brand new expansion," Trimarchi said who opened the restaurant at 1601 Route 22 West. "Then this happened and who knows how long it will last or what will happen in the next few months. Who knows how this will effect business in the warmer months when I wanted to open up our garage doors for outdoor seating."
Trimarchi, like many area restaurants, is turning to delivery and take-out to keep business going. He is offering delivery to homes in a 10 to 15 mile radius and asks patrons to call the restaurant instead of using DoorDash for delivery.

"They can order through DoorDash but if they call the restaurant our employees can do the delivery. I stress that people call the restaurant because it keeps our employees working," Trimarchi said.
22 West is also offering frozen meal trays that feed up to four people. Meals include pulled pork with mashed potatoes and green beans; mac and cheese; meatloaf with mashed potatoes and green beans; chicken pot pie; and more.
