3 Members Sworn In To Bridgewater-Raritan School Board
Incumbent Barry Walker and Rebecca Hassouna representing Bridgewater and incumbent Michael Pepe representing Raritan were sworn in.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ ? Incumbent Barry Walker and Rebecca Hassouna representing Bridgewater and incumbent Michael Pepe representing Raritan were sworn in to serve on the Bridgewater-Raritan Regional Board of Education at the Reorganization meeting on Tuesday night.
White, Corrado, and Shaw all won one of the three, three-year seats on the board in the November election over incumbent Lawrence Rascio along with Erin Weber and Deborah Marcus.
In Bridgewater, Walker and Hassouna emerged victorious over Jarrett Hahn and Hector Menendez in the November election.

In Raritan, Pepe was victorious over Umesh Agrawal and Jeffrey McNally.
During the meeting, Walker was appointed as Board President and Jennifer Loughran was appointed as Board Vice President.

In other reorganization business, Walker was elected to serve as the Board of Education?s Representative and Lucy Li was selected as the Alternate to the Somerset County Educational Services Commission?s Board of Directors.
Pepe was elected to serve as the Delegate and Li and Singer as the Alternates to the New Jersey School Board Association?s Delegate?s Assembly and Somerset County School Boards Association.
Li and fellow Board of Education member Emily Calistri were appointed as the Town Representatives to Bridgewater Township and Pepe was chosen as the Town Representative to the Borough of Raritan.
The Board of Education's next meeting will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 9, at the Wade Administration Building.
