The Manalo's family life has drastically changed and is under a huge financial strain since 11-year-old Jabez's surgery.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ ? The Manalo family of Bridgewater is in need of financial help after their 11-year-old son had a stroke and underwent brain surgery.
In July, Jabez unexpectedly had a stroke which almost took his life. He had to undergo immediate brain surgery and was hospitalized for about three months, said Kim Krail, a friend of the family, on a GoFundMe page.
Following the surgery, Jabez had to learn to walk, talk, and move all over again. His daily schedule has been packed with therapies in the hope of gaining full mobility.

"The Manalo's family life has drastically changed. Jabez is currently being homeschooled. His mom drives him to East Brunswick each day for various therapies. Mom has not been able to go back to work. This along with all of the medical bills has put a huge financial strain on the family," said Krail.
Krail started the fundraising website on GoFundMe to help the family out.
