Bridgewater Rescue Community Mourns Loss Of EMT

Longtime volunteer of the Finderne Rescue Squad EMT Justin Rivera died on Thursday, Dec. 27.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — The Bridgewater rescue community is mourning the loss of Finderne Rescue Squad life member, EMT Justin Rivera.

Rivera died on Thursday, Dec. 27 and served as vice president to the rescue squad. He volunteered his time for more than 15 years.

"EMT Rivera is a well-known man through many communities, when he wasn’t busy volunteering with us he was busy running his towing business, or busy helping friends in any way they needed,"Finderne Rescue Squad announced. "May you Rest In Peace EMT Rivera, we will take it from here. Please keep watch over us."

The Bridgewater Police Department also shared their condolences, "Our thoughts and prayers are with EMT Justin Rivera’s family and friends along with the Finderne Rescue Squad. May he Rest In Peace."
