Char Burger And Creamery Is Open For Business

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — The Char Burger and Creamery, at the former TD Bank on Route 202 North in Bridgewater, has finally opened.

The restaurant, at 230 Milltown Rd. in Bridgewater, held a soft opening in late December 2020 after many setbacks.

Since opening Char Burger has received from pretty good reviews on Google with an average of 3.6 out of 5 stars.

"Wow. First time trying Char Burger and I was blown away. Had the onion burger, fries, and split a chicken sandwich with my husband. Every part of the meal was delicious, you can really taste the great quality of their food," said one reviewer.

"Has an In-n-out vibe, small menu but good at what they have. Food was good, especially the cheese fries and milkshake!" said another reviewer.

"Best Burgers in the area. My favorite is the Spicy Chicken sandwich. The place is beautiful and people are very friendly," said another reviewer.

The property located next to CVS Pharmacy near the Milltown Road intersection was purchased in the spring of 2017 by owner and manager of the upscale modern Char Steakhouse, Luciano Ingrao.

At the time it was anticipated the new Char Burger and Creamery would open later in the fall of 2017. Work later began in early December 2019.

The restaurant is currently open every day from noon to 9 p.m. and serving takeout and indoor dining.

Char Burger and Creamery offers a variety of burgers, chicken sandwiches, soft-serve ice cream, and milkshakes.

This location is geared more towards families as a playground was constructed on the property.
