Cheech's Own Fuels Essential Workers Amid Coronavirus
Customers can buy coffee from Cheech's Own in Somerville to donate to police stations, hospitals, first responders, and more.

SOMERVILLE, NJ — Bridgewater native Steven Chiocchi "Cheech" is keeping his coffee business brewing amid the coronavirus through takeout and delivery while also giving back to those fighting on the front lines.
"We're helping fuel essential workers with a new program to crowdfund coffee that will be distributed to essential workers around central NJ," Chiocchi said.
In one night Chiocchi was able to donate 35 pounds of coffee to police stations, hospitals, first responders, and more. To donate visit cheechs.cafe/covid-19.

"Help Cheech's Own give back during this time of uncertainty. Now more than ever, our essential workers need the help of their communities. We're committed to delivering freshly roasted organic coffees to essential workers all around our local community," Chiocchi wrote on his website.

Additionally, Cheech's Own is remaining open for takeout/curbside pickup only with limited hours from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Customers can use the new online ordering website to order pickup, and delivery here at cheechs.cafe.
