SOMERVILLE, NJ — A community is heartbroken over the loss of Vojkan Zlatkov, who ran the well-known Court House Sub Shop in Somerville with his brother. The sub shop was a place where Somerville High School students, attorneys, those called for jury duty, government employees and others would frequent daily.

Everyone knew Vojkan Zlatkov, lovingly called "Victor." He always knew everyone by name and their order before they even spoke. He touched the lives of so many locals.

"So sorry for your loss and for the loss to the Somerville community. When my kids were in high school they knew him on a regular basis at lunch period. He knew everyone’s order by knowing their face, their name and truly cared to get to know people. He asked them about sports. He made subs for the the SHS football team. He was a one of the good guys. He will be missed," said Laura Cohn on the Court House Sub Shop's Facebook page.
