Cooper Is Bridgewater's Pet Of The Week

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Meet Cooper! He has been chosen as Bridgewater Patch's Pet Of The Week.

"His name is Cooper and he is a 4-and-a-half-year-old Cavapoo 3/4 King Charles and 1/4 Mini poodle. He is the first dog we had and could not imagine a day without him. He has a very chill personality and loves being around people and at family parties. Rarely barks unless he wants to play.

He is 100 percent a mommas boy. He will sit in the front door on his pillow and when he sees my wife's SUV go past the house he runs for the garage door to greet her with his tail wagging so fast we joke he can cool the house. Every night he will sit with her or our older son to watch TV. It's funny when he sees a dog on TV and will jump off the couch and start barking at the TV.

He also loves his walks and going to our boys' baseball games. Say the word baseball and he will spin in circles waiting for his carrier to head out to the game. He even has his own uniform shirt and is known by all the parents and players."

Participating in the Pet of the Week happenings is simple: submit your nomination by emailing alexis.tarrazi@patch.com with the subject line "Bridgewater Pet Of The Week." Be sure to include a photograph or two of your pet, a paragraph about what makes him or her so great, the town you're from, and your name.

Then just keep an eye out for a photo of your pet on the Patch!

The photo can be of a present pet, or it can be a baby picture of the adult pet you're so proud of today. All photos must be the property of the submitter. By submitting a photo to Patch the submitter agrees to give permission for it to be published on Patch.

Additionally, selected winners each week will be given a free bag of Woof Gang dog or cat treats when they stop in Woof Gang Bakery and Grooming inside Bridgewater Towne Center at 732 US-202. And winners can also bring their pet into the store for a picture. Woof Gang Bakery will put them up on their social media page as well.
