Deer Hunt Closes Bridgewater Parks Tuesday, Wednesday
Breaking: Deer hunting will continue Tuesday and Wednesday at parks in Bridgewater.
BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Deer hunting will continue Tuesday and Wednesday at parks in Bridgewater as part of the Somerset County Park Commission’s deer management program.
These will be the last two days of the hunt in the New Jersey Division of Fish and Wildlife Shotgun Season at Washington Valley County Park and Duke Island Park.
Duke Island Park will be closed until noon on Tuesday, Feb. 7 and Washington Valley County Park will be closed on Wednesday, Feb. 8 all day.

The deer count for the 2015-2016 season was 75 deer, according to Chris Poulsen, Director of Human Services in Bridgewater.
