Fewer Students Per Teacher in Bridgewater Than National Average
New data has found there is, on average, 12 students per teacher.

With the school year about to come to a close, parents are thinking about class sizes and more, and Bridgewater actually seems to have fewer students per teacher than is projected around the country.
The data is according to Sperling’s Best Places, which compiles information for places to live in the country. It compares the data to data across the United States.
In Bridgewater, as of 2012, the district spends $7,626 per student. That is higher than the national average of $5,691 spent per student.

As for a pupil/teacher ratio, in Bridgewater, the average is 12 students per every one teacher. That compares to the full country average of 15.3 students for every teacher.
The data also shows that there are 737 students for every librarian in the district, and 460 students for every counselor. In the country, the average is 803 students for every librarian and 513 students for every counselor.
