Free Apple Workshops Throughout the Week

If you’re an Apple fan, or if you’re contemplating purchasing a product, there are some great free workshops in the week ahead.

Here are this week’s free workshops:

• Wednesday: From 12 p.m. to 1 p.m., attend iWork for iPad Hands-on Workshop, which addresses the redesign. From 1:30 p.m. to 2 p.m., learn about the OS X Lion Experience and OS X Lion desktop operating system.
• Thursday: From 12 p.m. to 1 p.m., discover and explore iPad 2; from 3 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., the OS X Lion Experience OS X Lion advanced desktop operating system; and from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m., learn iMovie-viewing and working with video as intuitively as enjoying your photos.
• Friday: From 12 p.m. to 1 p.m., get started with iPhone 4. Learn how to make calls, send e-mails and download applications from the App Store. From 4 p.m. to 5 p.m., participate in a hands-on workshop for GarageBand, which is a recording studio for Mac.
• Saturday: From 8 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., get started with a Mac. From 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., get started with iPad 2 in a hands-on workshop [bring your iPad to learn, explore, ask questions and more]. From 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., experience OS X Lion, an advanced desktop operating system. From 12 p.m. to 1 p.m., go further with iPad 2—after mastering the basics, take this more advanced class. From 4 p.m. to 5 p.m., learn how iMovie makes viewing and working with video as intuitive as enjoying photos.

The mall should be pretty quiet for back-to-school week, so it’s a great time to shop. Here are your deals:
