Freebie from Bath & Body Works, Other Mall Deals

This week, we’re going to try something new in our Frugal Family column, and give you the down and dirty deals for .

It’s back-to-school shopping time and clearance racks abound, so stock up for next year on the summer stuff. Be sure to clip some coupons to score some great deals on fall fashions as well.

And events at the mall are scarce this week, but did you know that Bridgewater Commons has a free HealthHike program?

Participants begin their walks at 7 a.m. Monday through Saturday, and at 9 a.m. on Sunday via the movie theater entrance at the top level of the parking deck. Light breakfast is provided and there are speakers, socialization and prizes.

Badges and pre-registration are required for all aspects of the program. Visit guest services on the main level of the mall at center court to sign-up.

Here are your deals for the final full week of August:

Bloomingdales
Deal: Spend $100-$199.99 on kids and get 20 percent off. Spend $200 or more on kids and get 30 percent off. The sales are valid on almost all regular priced kids merchandise. The offer is available in the store and online, and is valid on almost all regular-priced fashions for girls 2-16 and boys 2-20. Offer excludes Kids Apparel from Moncler, Polo Active, MIKI HAUS, Under Armour, The North Face and UGG Australia. This does not appear to require a coupon, but you might want to print this and inquire in the store.

Macy’s
Deal: Macy’s offers an additional 15 percent off sale and clearance apparel for kids, juniors and young men or 10 percent off shoes via this printable coupon. Remember, this Saturday you can use your 25 percent off coupons with your $5 donation to Shop for a Cause [use Twitter or Google to find organizations selling the coupons].
