How Much Snow Will Bridgewater Get This Weekend, Elsewhere?

Winter Storm Iola will blow into Bridgewater this weekend, bringing freezing rain, an inch of ice, and yes, even some snow.
The nor’easter, which could bring nearly a half-a-foot of snow to parts of New Jersey, is slated to strike the region beginning late Friday, and last until Saturday morning.
The National Weather Service is predicting a 100 percent chance of snow tonight, a wintery mix tomorrow, with snow likely falling into Saturday night. A total accumulation of up to five inches could fall in Bridgewater this weekend.

The National Weather Service has issued a “Winter Weather Advisory,” in effect from 9 p.m. Friday to 10 a.m. Saturday, for snow and freezing rain covering nearly all of New Jersey.
Bridgewater will likely see two to four inches of snow tonight with lows around 29 degrees, the NWS reports.

On Saturday, ice accumulation, freezing rain, and more snow after 4 p.m. could cause treacherous conditions for drivers. Although there will be less than one inch of new snow on Saturday, nearly an inch of ice will accumulate. Drivers are urged to proceed with caution and watch out for black ice.
Little to no snow is expected for Sunday night. There is a 50 percent chance of snow on Sunday and Monday, the NWS reports.
