I-78 Closed Due To Crash Investigation In Bedminster

The crash investigation is currently ongoing on Thursday in Somerset County.

BEDMINSTER, NJ ? Interstate 78 was closed in both directions in Somerset County on Thursday due to a crash investigation.

A crash was reported on I-78 West at milepost 30 in Bedminster Township. All lanes were initially closed.

As of 2:15 p.m., all westbound lanes remain closed and all eastbound sides lanes have reopened in the area of Exit 26 for County Route 665/Rattlesnake Bridge Road in Bedminster Township, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation's 511NJ website.

There are also 40 to 45-minute delays on I-78 as a result. There is also heavy traffic on I-287 northbound Route 202 (Bridgewater Twp) to Exit 21 - I-78 (Bedminster Twp). All lanes open due to delays on I-78, 20-25 minute delay.
