Kangaroo Kids is Back!

Working to keep everyone safe!

Kangaroo Kids is back open and ready to educate and care for children. They have worked tirelessly to put in all the new safety protocols. A professional cleaning came in prior to the start of school to clean, sanitize, disinfect every surface, toy and lego in the school.

As with many programs children will now be screened at the door with temperature taking and a verbal survey. Kangaroo Kids even has a miniature sink outside for children to wash their hands prior to entering the school.

Teachers prepared the rooms with small group areas that encourage social distancing, materials that can easily be cleaned. They also have “wash me,” bins for any toy that needs to be removed from circulation prior to being cleaned and disinfected. Teachers also disinfect high touch areas every two hours.

All new filters have been placed in the furnaces and there is even a screened in area for an outside classroom. There are UV lights available when extra disinfecting is needed.

Thanks to the efforts of Mihir Pendbarkar and Katie Lemerich Kangaroo Kids teachers now all have face shields so children can see their warm and welcoming smiles.
